Treat It
Don't forget your hands when you slather on your nightly combo of serums and potions. Jaliman says to alternate between a product with retinol and a product with peptides to stimulate collagen production.
To make things easy, multipurpose the facial products you already have and apply them to the backs of your hands. Jaliman recommends Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Cream for retinol, and Olay Regenerist Deep Hydration Regenerating Cream for your dose of peptides. You can even use prescription-strength retinoid products, like Renova, on your hands.
Wu also recommends paraffin treatments to keep hands soft and non-crepey, which she does once a week in the winter.
The Giveaway: Knotty Veins
It's a less-than-stellar fact of life that losing weight becomes more difficult as you age -- everywhere except for your hands, apparently. According to Wu, the loss of fat in your hands happens naturally with age, making your tendons, bones and veins really stand out.
Prevent It
"Don't get too skinny," says Wu. (We'll take this as our cue to go order a pizza.) She explains: "This happens to all of us as we get older, but it's more obvious in those with less body fat."
Treat It
If you want to camouflage ropey veins, your best bet is to turn to the needle. Jaliman says you can get injections by a vascular surgeon, which collapses the veins (not as scary as it sounds) and makes them less pronounced.
Wu says to look into fillers and fat injections. When done well, these plump your hands and make them look more youthful (same as with your face). But, know the risks: these treatments can also cause bruising, swelling and lumpiness.
If you do go the fillers route, Jaliman recommends one with hyaluronic acid, such as Juvederm or Perlane, or Radiesse, which is made of calcium

How to Get Fair Skin in Two Weeks
Whether you're trying to get rid of dark spots or just hoping to achieve a lighter, healthier complexion, this guide will teach you some homemade recipes to help you get closer to the skin you want in just two weeks!
Method 1 of 4: Keeping Your Skin Healthy
Increase your water consumption.
Exfoliate daily with a mild exfoliant, or every other day if your skin is sensitive. This will help increase cell turnover, [1] meaning softer and smoother skin, and may also reveal lighter skin underneath.
Apply sunscreen daily. You skin will stay light, be protected from free radicals that age your skin, and have a reduced risk of skin cancer!
Consider using a daily rub after washing your face, and a mask three times a week for best results. Check out the recipes below for some ideas!
Method 2 of 4: Rub Recipes
Take 1tsp (5mL) of milk and 1 tsp (5mL) of honey. Mix them together and massage into your face. Use nonfat milk for oily skin, and whole milk or cream for dry skin.
Grind 1/2 cup (120mL) of dry azuki beans to a coarse flour consistency. Then pour about 2 teaspoons (10mL) of the mixture into the palm of your hand. Add water to make a paste, and massage gently into your face. Store remaining powder in a plastic bag.
Method 3 of 4: Homemade Masks
Beat an egg white until frothy, then apply to your face. When it dries, thoroughly wash off. Do not use this mask on broken skin!
Mix 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of honey with two tablespoons (30mL) plain yogurt. Leave it on your face for about 20 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.
Mash one soft avocado with one cooked carrot. Add a half cup (120mL) of heavy cream, 1 egg and a dab of honey. Spread over your face and neck, and leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing off with cool water.
Method 4 of 4: Choosing Skin Products
Look for products with hydroquinone (aka benzine 1 or quinol), the only FDA approved skin bleaching ingredient.
Apply Fuller's Earth. Fuller's Earth is used to soak up oils, and is great for those with acne troubles or oily skin who wish to lighten their skin. The minerals, including lime, alumina and iron oxides, can produce a noticeably fairer complexion. The ideal Fuller's Earth for skin care is a mixture of mined montmorillonite minerals and bentonite.
